The fruition of a vision, that has manifested immense dedication and sacrifice by a couple, PASTOR JACOB JOSEPH (PRINCE)
and his wife SISTER SOSAMMA JACOB (SALLY), in the year 1995, as guided by the ‘Almighty God’, through prayer in a vision,
to structure a homelike edifice(s) for the homeless, rejected, unloved, forsaken, loathed, ostracized, neglected, impoverished
being(s) of our society.
GILGAL ASHWASA BHAVAN CHARITABLE TRUST, is a registered ‘CHARITABLE TRUST’ located near Eraviperoor Thiruvalla, Kerala – India. Since
its inception in the year 2000 of an ordeal but also exhilarating journey, is an abode under the Almighty God’s protection
where we inculcate a Christlikeness behaviour to all our inmates. As of today we have had more than 1000 inmates and at
present, we have 350 inmates who are in the process of recuperation.

GILGAL ASHWASA BHAVAN is devoted to serve and improve, the overall factual situation(s) and health condition(s) of those we serve, by ensuring everyone is provided with their requisite of life, experience seamless love, care, support, compassion, and fellowship with one another, irrespective of their religion, caste, gender, colour and age. Our mission also defines significance to honour the individual(s) dignity, to empower them and give hope to live in peace in their hardest time.

GILGAL ASHWASA BHAVAN transcends its limits when it comes to helping out the needy to provide companionship and support not only within, but also among the society, through its social services in the community.
Our Services
Geriatric Care Unit
At Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan we have a dedicated unit for caring for elderly people abandoned by their families, as well as homeless and indigent senior citizens, including those with mental health issues, based on official recommendations and societal consent.
Alzheimer's Care Unit
Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan provides specialized care and shelter for elderly individuals suffering from conditions like dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's disease, who are often left alone without proper care. We provide a safe, supportive environment where they receive the care needed to manage their conditions.
Pain & Palliative Care Unit
Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan is a compassionate facility that provides care and shelter to individuals facing the imminent threat of death, often due to contagious diseases. In these critical situations, the center offers both physical care and emotional support to alleviate their suffering.
Mental Care Centre
At Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan, we are committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care that goes beyond just treatment and medication. We focus on addressing the emotional, psychological, and physical needs of individuals, treating them with the respect and dignity they deserve.
Cerebral Palsy Care Unit
Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan is resolute in providing the utmost care to these individuals, offering round-the-clock devotion to their well-being. We’ve seen significant progress in our residents' recovery, thanks to our dedicated, comprehensive approach.
Intellectual Disability Care Unit
Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan has been providing care, therapy, and support to these individuals. Beyond medical treatment, we offer recreational activities, fitness programs, and vocational training to enhance both mental and physical well-being.
Physically Challenged Care Unit
At Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan, we care for individuals with physical challenges such as spinal cord injuries, aphasia, hearing and visual impairments, and limb deformities caused by accidents.
Activities
We provide housing for seniors over 60 who are capable of performing daily activities and chores. We offer separate accommodation for both men and women.

Gilgal Peace Home is our new project where our beloved old aged ones will be accommodated and will be taken care of their diverse needs like food, health, faith etc...
Since, it requires a huge amount of money for making the infra-structure and and to meet the day to day recurring expense, we plan to make it a paid service partially.

Every month we have innumerable applications where they request for an admission at our institute.
