Founded Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan.
The foundation of Gilgal was born out of profound empathy. Touched by the heartbreaking story of a despairing mother who had lost all hope to live, Pr. Jacob Joseph was moved to create a safe haven for those who had nowhere else to turn. On October 9, 2000, he founded Gilgal Ashwasa Bhavan in a small rented home. What began as a humble shelter has grown into a massive beacon of hope. Today, the institution accommodates over 400 residents and is supported by 100 dedicated staff members. As a highly active and vibrant leader, Pr. Jacob Joseph continues to be deeply involved in the daily operations and care of the residents, ensuring that the institution remains a living story of compassion, resilience, and renewed life.
